The six-image starter sequence

A simple first book can make sense with six deliberately different images

  1. Clean headshot

    Your face should be easy to read — styling can be polished, but the image should not depend on dramatic makeup or retouching.

  2. Full-body image

    Casting teams need to understand proportion and silhouette.

  3. Commercial / lifestyle frame

    Approachable, believable, expressive — usable for a consumer brand.

  4. Editorial frame

    Stronger styling, shape or attitude shows you can carry a concept.

  5. Black-and-white portrait

    Useful when it adds a different mood rather than duplicating another close-up.
