PortfolioPlaza operates the website at portfolioplaza.com and related PortfolioPlaza tools, features, products and services. In this Privacy Policy, "PortfolioPlaza," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of PortfolioPlaza in India.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we may collect, how we use it, when we may share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use PortfolioPlaza, you may provide information such as:
- name;
- email address;
- country, city or general location;
- portfolio category or professional field;
- goals, interests and intended use;
- beta, waitlist or enquiry responses;
- portfolio details, measurements or professional information you choose to provide;
- customer-support messages;
- order information;
- revision requests; and
- other information you voluntarily submit through PortfolioPlaza.
Photographs, images and portfolio materials
If you use a PortfolioPlaza portfolio, image-generation, review, application-preparation or related service, you may upload:
- photographs and reference images;
- portfolio images;
- digitals or Polaroids;
- designs, drawings or creative work;
- documents;
- measurements and profile details; and
- other material needed to create or review your requested deliverables.
Images may reveal information about your appearance.
PortfolioPlaza does not use customer photographs for the purpose of identifying you against an external biometric database or for unrelated facial-recognition surveillance.
Where a feature uses automated image analysis, reference-image processing or AI generation, your images may be processed to provide that feature as described below.
Payment and transaction information
When paid services are enabled, we may collect:
- package or product purchased;
- amount and currency;
- payment status;
- transaction or payment reference;
- billing-related records; and
- refund or dispute information.
Payment-card details are processed by third-party payment processors. PortfolioPlaza does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or security codes.
Website, device and usage information
When you use PortfolioPlaza, we or our service providers may automatically receive information such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- language and approximate location;
- referring website or search query;
- pages viewed;
- links and buttons clicked;
- dates and times of visits;
- session and performance information; and
- technical logs used for security, troubleshooting and fraud prevention.
Analytics, advertising and attribution information
PortfolioPlaza may use analytics and advertising technologies, including services offered by Google, Meta and other providers.
Depending on the technologies enabled and your applicable privacy choices, this may include:
- campaign and referral parameters;
- UTM parameters;
- Google click identifiers;
- advertising identifiers;
- conversion and attribution data;
- cookie or browser identifiers; and
- information about interactions with PortfolioPlaza advertisements or pages.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, uploaded image filenames, private order links, measurements or other directly identifying customer information to analytics platforms unless a specific feature clearly requires it and applicable requirements are met.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- operate, maintain and secure PortfolioPlaza;
- provide website features, tools and portfolio services;
- manage beta, waitlist and early-access registrations;
- respond to enquiries and support requests;
- create, review, generate and deliver portfolio products;
- process orders and payments;
- provide revisions, refunds or customer service;
- personalize the requested service;
- maintain order and transaction records;
- improve our products, website and user experience;
- understand which portfolio categories, pages and services are useful;
- measure traffic, performance and conversion;
- attribute visits or purchases to marketing campaigns;
- advertise or remarket PortfolioPlaza where permitted;
- detect fraud, misuse, security incidents or technical failures;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory requirements;
- enforce our Terms & Conditions; and
- protect PortfolioPlaza, our users and third parties.
We may send service-related communications that are necessary to operate a requested service.
Where required, promotional or marketing communications will be sent only with an appropriate legal basis or consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
3. Legal Bases and Consent
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, PortfolioPlaza will rely on one or more appropriate grounds, including:
- your consent;
- steps requested by you before entering into a transaction;
- performance of a contract with you;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- legitimate uses or legitimate interests permitted by applicable law; and
- protection of PortfolioPlaza, users or others from fraud, abuse or security threats.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent as permitted by applicable law. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Where a specific feature requires consent, we may provide a separate notice at the point of collection in addition to this Privacy Policy.
4. AI Processing and Generated Images
Some PortfolioPlaza services may use third-party artificial-intelligence, machine-learning or image-processing providers.
If you purchase or use an AI-assisted feature, PortfolioPlaza may transmit relevant reference images, instructions and associated service data to such providers for the purpose of producing or processing the requested output.
AI-generated portfolio images may be synthetic. They may depict styling, clothing, locations, poses, lighting, backgrounds, body details or other characteristics that were not present in the original image or in real life.
PortfolioPlaza does not intentionally use customer photographs to train its own general-purpose AI model unless the customer has separately and expressly opted in to that use.
Third-party AI providers process information according to their own applicable terms, privacy practices and the configuration PortfolioPlaza uses with them.
5. Modeling Digitals and Other Authenticity-Sensitive Images
Certain modeling agencies, employers, institutions or other recipients may require genuine, current and minimally edited photographs.
PortfolioPlaza may offer AI-generated or enhanced portfolio imagery separately from guidance or packaging for genuine digitals, Polaroids or application photographs.
You are responsible for checking and complying with the requirements of the agency, employer, institution, platform or other recipient to whom you submit materials.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
PortfolioPlaza may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies.
These technologies may be used for:
- essential website functionality;
- security and fraud prevention;
- remembering preferences;
- analytics and performance measurement;
- attribution and conversion measurement;
- advertising; and
- remarketing or audience creation where legally permitted.
When required by applicable law, PortfolioPlaza will obtain or transmit the required consent choices before using non-essential analytics or advertising technologies.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser. Some browser choices may affect website functionality.
7. Google Analytics, Google Advertising and Meta
PortfolioPlaza may use Google Analytics to understand website usage and performance.
If Google advertising features or Google Ads are enabled, Google and PortfolioPlaza may use first-party identifiers, cookies or other permitted technologies together with Google advertising identifiers to measure advertising, attribute conversions, create audiences or personalize advertising where permitted.
PortfolioPlaza may also use Meta technologies, such as the Meta Pixel or Conversions API, to measure campaign performance, attribute conversions, create audiences or deliver advertising where permitted.
Availability and operation of these services may depend on your location, browser settings, consent choices and the configuration active on PortfolioPlaza at the time.
You can manage advertising preferences through the controls provided by the relevant advertising provider and, where legally required, through privacy choices made available by PortfolioPlaza.
8. How We Share Personal Information
We may share information with service providers and processors that help us operate PortfolioPlaza, including providers of:
- website hosting and cloud infrastructure;
- database and private file storage;
- analytics;
- advertising and attribution;
- payment processing;
- transactional email;
- customer support;
- AI and image generation;
- security and fraud prevention; and
- professional legal, tax, accounting or technical services.
These providers may process information only as necessary for the services they provide to us or as otherwise permitted under their own applicable legal obligations and terms.
We may also disclose information:
- where required by law, regulation, legal process or governmental request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or violations of our Terms;
- to protect the rights, property or safety of PortfolioPlaza, users or others;
- in connection with a business reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, sale or transfer of PortfolioPlaza or relevant assets; or
- with your direction or consent.
9. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising
PortfolioPlaza does not sell personal information for money.
Some privacy laws use broader definitions of "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" that can include certain disclosures to advertising or analytics providers.
If PortfolioPlaza engages in processing that is legally considered a sale, sharing or targeted advertising, users to whom those laws apply may request to opt out using a mechanism made available by PortfolioPlaza or by contacting: privacy@portfolioplaza.com
Where legally required and technically supported, PortfolioPlaza may also honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
10. International Processing
PortfolioPlaza is operated from India and may use service providers located in India, the United States and other countries.
Your personal information may therefore be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Privacy and data-protection laws can differ between jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, PortfolioPlaza will use an appropriate lawful mechanism.
11. Data Retention
PortfolioPlaza retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operational, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
As a general operating policy:
- beta or waitlist information may be retained until you withdraw your interest or for a reasonable period after the relevant product decision;
- customer source images used for custom portfolio services are generally intended to be deleted approximately 30 days after final delivery, unless a different period is disclosed, earlier deletion is requested and feasible, the order remains active, or retention is required for legal, security, dispute or fraud-prevention reasons;
- generated or delivered portfolio files may be retained for the period stated in the relevant service or as reasonably necessary to allow delivery and support;
- transaction, payment, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained for longer periods where necessary or required.
You may request deletion as described below.
12. Security
PortfolioPlaza uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
Depending on the feature, these may include private file storage, restricted access, signed or time-limited access links, secure connections, access controls and retention limits.
No method of internet transmission, processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to request:
- confirmation of whether we process your personal information;
- access to personal information;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion;
- withdrawal of consent;
- restriction or objection to certain processing;
- portability of certain data;
- information about certain disclosures;
- opt-out of certain targeted advertising, sale or sharing; and
- review of certain decisions as provided by law.
You may also have a right to submit a grievance or complaint to an applicable authority.

14. Marketing Choices
You can unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the message or by contacting us.
Service, security, transaction and other non-promotional communications may still be sent where necessary.
15. Children and Age Restrictions
PortfolioPlaza's personalized portfolio, image-upload and AI-generation services are intended for persons aged 18 or older unless PortfolioPlaza expressly introduces a lawful process for younger users.
We do not knowingly solicit photographs or other personal information from children for personalized portfolio services.

16. Third-Party Websites
PortfolioPlaza may link to agencies, educational institutions, employers, service providers, social networks or other third-party websites.
PortfolioPlaza does not control the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PortfolioPlaza's services, technology, providers or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain new consent for material changes.
